Recover Deleted Digital Pictures From A Camera

Deleted pictures can be restored.

Digital cameras have memory cards that store pictures. You could accidentally delete precious memories, vacation photos or pictures of a family gathering from the memory card of the camera. It is possible to retrieve the deleted pictures as long as new pictures were not taken using the same memory card.

Instructions

1. Download and install the picture-recovery tool. Free recovery tools for Windows include Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery, PC Inspector Smart Recovery, Pandora Recovery and Recover Files. Recovery tools for Mac include Exif Untrasher, PhotoRec and CardRaider.

2. Connect the digital camera to the computer with the memory card inserted in the camera.

3. Start the recovery tool and load the memory card by choosing the drive where the camera is located.

4. Start the recovery process and follow the instructions that are given. The recovery tool will recover the deleted pictures.

5. Place the recovered pictures in a folder of your choice.
