Sony Tam100 Operating Instructions

If you want people to be able to leave you a message while you are indisposed or away from home, you can use a telephone answering machine. An answering machine plays a recording of your greeting when someone calls, and then records the caller's message, which you can play back later. The Sony Tam-100 answering machine connects to your phone line and will start recording messages for you after you follow a few simple operating instructions to set it up.

Instructions

Connect Cords

1. Unplug the telephone cord of your phone from the wall phone jack. Plug one end of the supplied phone cord to the phone jack on your wall, and the other end to the "Tel" jack on the back of your Sony Tam-100 answering machine.

2. Plug the telephone's cord to the "Line" jack on the back of the answering machine.

3. Connect the AC power adaptor to the "DC IN" 12V jack on the back of the answering machine and plug it into to an outlet.
