A Laptop To A Camera Tripod

A camera tripod can hold many objects, not just a camera, providing there is a bottom hole to accept the standard screw at the tripod's top. Add a laptop to the top of the tripod by first attaching a camera or projector shelf purchased from a camera store or office supply shop. The camera shelf will screw into the tripod and provide a stable, level surface to place the laptop on. No special tools or mechanical expertise are needed.

Instructions

1. Open the legs of the tripod with your hands. Place the tripod on a surface so that each of the legs makes contact with the floor.

2. Hold the camera or projector shelf in one hand with the socket hole in its middle facing down.

3. Place the camera or projector shelf's socket hole against the screw at the top of the tripod. Twist the screw into the camera or projector shelf using your free hand.

4. Straighten out the tripod so that that camera or projector shelf is level. Carefully tighten all of the adjustments on the tripod so that the shelf will not move. Place the laptop onto the camera or projector shelf.
