1. Get a landline telephone hooked up in your home if you don't already have one. You will also need a microphone and a set of headphones. One of the cheapest ways to go is to purchase a headset, which will take care of both your need for headphones as well as a microphone. The headset or mic will plug directly into the computer.


2. Visit blogtalkradio.com and sign up for a free account. After you have your account information set up, you will receive a telephone number that will connect you to their site and allow you to broadcast your show. This will also allow other listeners to call in and talk to you while on the air.


3. Decide what topic you want your radio sbe about. You can talk about anything from politics and religion, to entertainment and sports. Pick a topic you are passionate about and are knowledgeable in.








4. Come up with a name for your radio show. Give your show a name that will make it distinct from other radio shows that are online. Make sure the title of the show fits in well with the topic you have chosen to talk about.


5. Make a schedule for your broadcast. Decide how many times a week you want to broadcast and what time on each day you want your sbe on. Keep in mind the demographic of your target audience and try and pick a time these individuals might tune in to your show.








6. Create an outline for each show you do. Include in the outline what particular topics you will be discussing that day. Make a few notes that contain information directly related to your topic to help fuel a good discussion.
