Convert Ipod Music To A Ps3

Sony PlayStation 3, PS3, media centers are equipped with video and audio options to stream movies and listen to music. iPod audio files are created in MP4 audio format, and PS3s can playback, both, MP3 and MP4 audio files. To convert, or transfer, iPod music to your PS3, you have to copy the files from a portable flash drive

Instructions

1. Plug the iPod into your computer with the USB cable that is provided with your iPod. Sync your music with iTunes when prompted, and eject and disconnect your iPod when the process is finished.

2. Plug a portable flash drive into the USB port of the computer. Navigate to the desired music files in the iTunes directory. Organize the files into a folder entitled, "PS3 Music." Drag and drop the files into the flash drive. Eject the flash drive.

3. Plug the flash drive into the PS3 USB port. Turn on your PS3, and use the PS3 controller to navigate to the "MUSIC" option. Navigate to your flash drive icon, which appears near the top of the list.

4. Locate the music folder you created in your flash drive. Press the triangle button on your controller and select "Copy" to copy the files to your PS3.
