Wooden venetian blinds should be cleaned regularly.
Wooden venetian blinds are made of flat wooden slats. Like all blinds, wooden venetian blinds can accumulate dust and need to be cleaned on a regular basis. This special type of blinds cannot get excessively wet or the slats will lose their form. Because of this, you should clean the blinds without using a lot of water.
Instructions
1. Find an old sock that you don't mind getting dirty.
2. Open the wooden venetian blinds so that the slats are sticking out.
3. Run your hand over each side of every wooden slat, removing excess dust.
4. Dampen the old sock, being careful not to soak it.
5. Run the sock over the slats to remove remaining dust and grime.
