Unlock A Palm Treo 750

The Palm Treo 750 has a security feature that makes it difficult to unlock the device without a valid unlock code. Palm has released an update that makes unlocking the phone easier for users who have valid codes; however, that update has come too late for people who have locked their phones accidentally or who locked them on purpose and then forgot the code. Luckily, once you have your code, the method for entering it to unlock the Treo isn't difficult.

Instructions

1. Turn off the Palm Treo 750 and remove the SIM card from the device.

2. Replace the SIM card and push the power button (the red button) to turn on the phone. Allow the phone to boot completely before doing anything else.

3. Touch "Menu" on the screen and then touch "Phone Tool" or "Phone Application."

4. Use the phone's pen to type "*#*#CODE#" into your phone. "CODE" will be substituted with the actual unlock code you were given by your cellular service provider or that you created for your phone. If you've forgotten your code, or never knew it to begin with, you may be able to obtain it from your service provider if your account is in good standing and you can provide correct personal information.

5. Use the pen to touch "Number" (the call button) and the phone will be unlocked.
