Visitors can enjoy playing golf and tennis, deep sea fishing, day cruises, snorkeling, scuba diving or relaxing at a spa. While select attractions and activities center around local resorts, many are available for all island guests.
Golf and Tennis
Visitors to Denarau Island can enjoy an 18-hole golf course and 10 tennis courts at the Denarau Golf & Racquet Club. The par 72 golf course provides a suitable challenge for beginners and experienced golfers alike. As of August 2010, the club charges $145 for green fees and $65 for Nike club rentals. Golfers can also receive instruction from the club's PGA certified instructor. Instruction programs, available for children and adults, include one-day, half-day and two-day sessions. Programs include 45-minute private or shared lessons, clinics and nine-hole lessons. The club features practice facilities, including a bunker, along with pitching, chipping and putting greens.
Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy daytime or night games on four lighted synthetic courts and six unlighted grass courts. Rates range from $22 to $30 per hour, depending on the type of court and time of play. Certified tennis pros offer clinics and private instruction for adults and children.

A Day at the Spa
The Heavenly Spa by Westin, located at The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa, features a wide variety of spa treatments, along with fitness facilities. The spa's therapy rooms and suites feature traditional beach hut (bure) designs. Bures include private showers, with gazebo treatment areas for couples and individuals. Facilities include a 25-meter lap pool, steam room, changing facilities, jet showers, hydrotherapy bath and a gym. Spa body treatments include massage, feet and hand therapies and in-room treatments for Westin guests. Spa visitors can enjoy facials and restoration skin care treatments, along with skin care services designed specifically for men. Services at the on-site salon include waxing, haircuts and special service packages for brides and grooms. The Heavenly Spa by Westin operates daily, 8:00 am to 8:30 pm. Advance reservations are recommended.
