Record On Your Xbox

Many gamers want to record their game play so they can proudly display their achievements. With the Xbox you can do that by creating high-end videos that can be uploaded to websites. It does require a video creator device that capture the game play and save it on your computer.

Instructions

1. Match the colors of the AV cables to the colors of the holes on the video creator.

2. Plug the other end of the AV cables to the "Monitor Out" section on the television with the corresponding colors. Check that the Xbox is connected to the television via the AV cables. This is the initial process that you had to perform to play the Xbox on that television.

3. Plug the USB cable running from the video creator into the USB port on the computer. If this is the first time you are using the video creator you will need to install the software that came with the video creator.

4. Double click on the video creator software so it loads on the computer. Click "Start Recording" when you are ready to record your game play. Click the "Stop" button when you want to end the recording.

5. Click on the "File" menu in the top left hand corner of the program. Click "Save" and save the just recorded file to the desired location on the computer.
