Play Mp3s On An Hp Ipaq

Gadgetry is getting smaller and more complex all the time, and the HP iPAQ is no exception to this trend. Current models of iPAQs can perform myriad functions, one of the most popular of which is playing music. Follow these instructions to play MP3s on an HP iPAQ.

Instructions

1. Select your iPAQ carefully. If you'll want to put many songs on it, you'll need one with memory card capability.

2. Get MP3s on your iPAQ. You can do this by transferring them from your computer, or if your iPAQ has wireless Internet, by downloading them from the Internet.

3. Transfer MP3 files from your computer by using the file explorer utility on your HP iPAQ to simply drag and drop your files from the directory on your computer to that on your iPAQ.

4. Download files directly to your iPAQ using wireless Internet. Connect to a wireless Internet network, then use your favorite music downloading program do get the songs directly onto your device.

5. You can play the songs using Windows Media Player which comes standard on the HP iPAQ. Or, if you prefer, you can download any of several free media players available online for handheld devices.

6. Use headphones if you're in a crowded area. Out of courtesy and a concern for performance, you should use headphones in a crowd, as the iPAQ's onboard speaker is inadequate to overcome the ambient noise.
