Scan Pictures Into Kodak Easyshare

Keeping digital copies of important paper documents and pictures allows you to easily edit them and share them with others. You can organize scanned documents on your computer easily, making going through files quicker and easier than flipping through physical folders. Scanning pictures also allows you to keep your photos safe from wear and tear by preserving digital copies. Kodak EasyShare all-in-one printers make it easy to scan pictures to save in a folder or application on your computer.

Instructions

1. Open the Kodak Home Center software that came with your Kodak EasyShare printer. You can find the program in the Windows "Start" menu, or you may have an icon for the software on your desktop that you can double click to open the program.

2. Click on "Default scan destination" in the Kodak Home Center software and select "File" or "Application" depending on where you want to save your scanned picture.

3. Open the lid covering the scanner glass on the top of your printer and place the picture face down on the glass, pressing it against the right corner.

4. Press the "Scan" button on your printer to make sure your Kodak EasyShare is in scan mode. A light will come on next to "Scan" on the printer to indicate the printer is ready to scan.

5. Press the "Start" button on your printer. The Kodak Home Center software will show you the scan's progress.
