Use A Dxg 305v

A tripod can keep your camera steady when filming events.

The DXG-305V is a beginner-level digital video camera. It is a good device for consumers who want to record events or begin basic film-making, but who don't want to buy a more expensive camera. The 305V can be used with little preparation with its default auto mode, which will adjust the camera's settings automatically as you record. As always, the best way to learn the limitations and abilities of a camera is to spend time with it.

Instructions

1. Insert four AAA-sized batteries into the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.

2. Insert an SD memory card into the bottom of the camera according to the orientation image shown. Push it inward gently until it clicks into place.

3. Press the "Power" button. The LCD screen will light automatically. Rotate the mode dial to the film camera icon to shoot video.

4. Press the "Menu" button to adjust specific settings, like color balance and movie size. This step is not required, but may be helpful to more advanced users.

5. Press the shutter button to begin recording. You will see a live view of the movie on the LCD screen. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.

6. Press the "Playback" button on the rear of the camera to review movies.

7. Roll the "Select" button up and down to highlight the movie you wish to view. Press the "OK" button to begin playing and press it again to stop playing.

8. Highlight the "Delete" function to erase a movie. Press the "OK" button, highlight "Delete One" and press "OK" again. Highlight the movie you'd like to erase and press "OK" one final time. Alternatively, you can erase all the movies by highlight "Delete All".

9. Press the "Playback" button again to return to shooting mode.
