Instructions For The Radio Shack Btx121

A transceiver radio is must-have piece of equipment for many workers.








In the era when transceiver radios enjoyed phenomenal popularity, the Radio Shack BTX-121 model was one of the best in its class. The radio features high-quality sound and durable materials, and has been used successfully by many people in industrial settings and for fun and entertainment.








Instructions


Getting started


1. Slide the battery pack onto the back of the radio. Make sure it clicks in place.


2. Turn the "Volume" knob in the clockwise direction to turn on the transceiver. To set the desired frequency, turn the "Channel" knob to a specific position.


3. To transmit, simply press "Push to Talk" button and holding the radio about three inches from your mouth start talking slowly at normal voice volume. The "Busy/TX/Batt" indicator will light up red if everything is working properly.


4. Release the "Push to Talk" button to receive a message. When you receive a message, the "Busy/TX/Batt" indicator will turn green.


5. By turning the "Volume" knob, you can adjust the volume for comfortable listening level.
