Print From A Memory Card

Print using a memory card-compatible printer.








The cameras made today are compatible with memory cards of various sizes. These memory card allow the option of taking and storing more pictures before needing to transfer them to your computer and print. Due to the more advanced printers, you have the option to print straight from the memory cards instead of transferring, saving and then printing.








Instructions


Print With a Photo Printer


1. Insert your memory card into the appropriate slot on the photo printer and wait for a prompt with your pictures.


2. Select "View" on the photo printer to view the pictures on your memory card and decide which you would like to print.


3. Select "Edit Photo" for editing options on each individual picture that is loaded on your memory card. You will have options to remove red-eye, crop pictures and adjust colors.


4. Select "Print" on the photo printer and view how the pictures will look on the "Print Preview" screen. Load photo paper into the printer that is compatible with the printer. When satisfied with the result, select "Print" again.

5. Insert your memory card into the card reader located on your printer. The printer will automatically switch to photo mode. Empty your printer of regular printer paper and place photo paper in the tray.


6. Press the left and right arrows located on the front of your printer to select your printing option.


7. Press the "Select" button when you have gotten to the "Print Images" selection. This will print all of the photos on your memory card.


Print Using Your PC


8. Insert your memory card into the appropriate slot in your PC. For a desktop, it will be on the front of the computer, but in a notebook computer, you will find it on the side near a USB port.


9. Wait for a prompt about your next actions. For Windows Vista and Windows 7, the prompt will be titled "Autoplay."


10. Click on "View Pictures" on the prompt and wait for the selected program to bring up the pictures loaded on the memory card. Click on "Print" and follow the directions on the screen to select your printer and other details.
