Power A Portable Tv

Use a portable TV for both its ease of use and convenience. You can use it at games, when the power goes out at home or even while waiting to see your doctor in the waiting room! You may be wondering just how easy it is to power your new portable TV. Here are some tips on how you can power your portable TV and enjoy your favorite shows anywhere.

Instructions

Power Your Portable TV

1. Know that, just like regular TVs, your portable TV can be plugged into a socket. You will need an adapter for this and it is usually an optional accessory for your portable TV. Most portable TVs will need power of about 120 volts.

2. Power your portable TV with batteries. Your portable TV is equipped to use regular household batteries when you are on the move. Most handheld TVs will use 4 AA or AAA batteries, which can run up to 2 hours.

3. Power your portable TV with your car's battery. You can do this by plugging the TV into the cigarette lighter in your car with a car adapter. The car adapter is not included with the portable TV, so you will have to buy this separately.

4. Consider using rechargeable batteries in order to avoid having to buy regular batteries constantly. Be sure to charge your batteries ahead of time so that you can use it whenever you want to without worrying about the batteries running low prematurely.

5. Be aware that some portable TVs have built-in rechargeable batteries. The whole system will need to be charged regularly to avoid the TV shutting off in the middle of your favorite show.
