Activate Motorola Bluetooth For A Verizon Phone

Instructions


1. Access the Verizon phone's Bluetooth settings. Press the "Menu" key on the cell phone's keypad. Scroll down to the phone's "Settings and Tools" tab folder within the menu items. Select the "Connections" tab folder and then scroll down the list and locate the "Bluetooth" option. Press the "OK" key in the upper right corner of the phone's keypad.


2. Turn the Verizon phone's Bluetooth settings on. In the Bluetooth folder, access the Setup options and select the "Power" action. Press "OK" on the phone's keypad and scroll down to the "On" option to ensure that the phone's Bluetooth capability is enabled.


3. Choose the phone's Bluetooth hands-free setting. Press the "Back" key on your phone's keypad twice to return to the initial Bluetooth menu. Scroll down to the "Hands-free" option and press "OK" to confirm and finalize this setting.


4. Activate your Motorola Bluetooth headset. Hold down the Bluetooth headset button until the device's LED light flashes.


5. Pair the Motorola Bluetooth headset to the Verizon phone. Press the "Look for Devices" button within the phone's Bluetooth menu. The phone's Bluetooth will begin searching for the headset. Once the headset is discovered, its name and model number will appear on the phone's screen. Press "OK" on the model name and number. Select the "Pair with Device" action.








6. Enter the Motorola Bluetooth passkey. Press 0000 into your phone's keypad to confirm the activation action. Once this code is processed by your phone, your Motorola Bluetooth will now be activated and paired to the phone. The Motorola Bluetooth headset's LED light will flash. This will be your indication that the headset has been successfully paired with your Verizon phone.
