Determine The Battery Life Of A Stiletto 2

The Stiletto 2 satellite radio receiver is used to listen to Sirius Satellite Radio programming. The Stiletto 2 functions like a standard MP3 player, acting as a radio receiver while you're on the go. You don't have to be in your home or car to listen to Sirius Satellite Radio. Although the Stiletto 2 has no indicator that accurately tells you how much battery life is left, you can determine approximately the time remaining.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Stiletto 2.

2. Locate the "Battery Life Indicator" in the lower left corner of your unit's home screen. You'll get an approximate idea of the percentage of battery life remaining. If the indicator is completely filled, you have a full battery; if it's in the middle, you have half a battery; and if it's empty your battery is almost dead.

3. Figure out whether you have a "standard battery" or a "slim battery." This information is written on the unit itself and is accessible through the rear of your Stiletto 2.

4. Compare the maximum battery life against your "Battery Life Indicator." For example, a full standard battery on the Stiletto 2 provides around four hours of listening time. So if your indicator shows a "half full" reading, you know you have about two hours left. The slim battery provides two hours, so a half-full indicator means you have an hour left before having to charge the battery.
