Solarcon A110 Pm Instructions

The Solarcon A-110PM is a part of the Solarcon series of CB radio antennas. The A-110PM is a 50-watt stainless steel antenna with a magnet mount and cable configuration. The magnet mount has a 3-inch plastic coating and the coaxial cable is 12 feet long. The Solarcon A-110PM is manufactured to be completely waterproof and has a chrome plated 3/8-inch by 24-inch ferrule. The basic instructions for the Solarcon A-110PM are fairly straightforward.

Instructions

1. Place the Solarcon A-110PM magnetic base onto a flat metallic surface at the chosen mounting location. The location needs to be less than 10 feet from the CB radio that the antenna is to be connected to. The magnetic base will hold the antenna firmly into place.

2. Plug the coaxial cable into the "Antenna" (or equivalent) port in the CB radio.

3. Twist the base ring on the antenna, counterclockwise or clockwise, to adjust the SWR (standing wave ratio) position. The twist rings at the base allow for the adjustment of SWR in order to effectively tune frequencies to the CB radio.
