The main pitch varies from +/-10, but at zero pitch, the speed of the record tends to fluctuate greatly.

DJ software is available from a variety of manufacturers with special control vinyl, allowing information to be read digitally and broadcast through the vinyl source. When using the Vestax line of turntables in tandem with DJ mixing software, the pitch control gives erratic readings when compared to the software.
