Facebook Contacts In A Phone Book On Android

An Android phone is a Google-based phone that runs on the Google Android operating system. Examples of Android phones include the Samsung Fascinate, HTC Evo, Motorola Defy and the LG Vortex. With the Android system, you have access to a wide variety of mobile apps, push Gmail email and Google Web browsing. One of the apps available is the Facebook for Android app. With this app, you can add any Facebook contacts to your Android phone book so you can contact them at your convenience.


Instructions


1. Tap the "Market" icon on your Android phone and tap the magnifying glass icon. Type "Facebook" and tap "Go."


2. Tap "Facebook for Android" and tap "Install." Wait for the installation completion message on your Android phone.








3. Touch the Facebook for Android app on your Android phone to open it. Type your Facebook username email and password when prompted.


4. Tap "Menu," "Settings." Tap "Sync Contacts." Select "Sync with Existing Contacts." Tap "OK." The Facebook for Android app will add any Facebook contacts to your Android phone book that were not already there.
