Use temporary dye to color your hair to match your outfit.
Brightly colored costumes are one way to attract attention and stand out in a crowd. Liven up dull or older costumes with spray paint, glitter or iron-on sparkling gems. Match your hair and accessories to the outfit; use neon hair color, brightly painted finger nails and flashy earrings and necklaces to complete the outfit. Make your shoes stand out as well with spray paint or cover them in tinfoil depending on the style of your costume.
Instructions

1. Spray or apply neon hair coloring to your clean, dry hair. Allow it to dry, then tie your hair up in ponytails with the neon pom-pom hair ties.
2. Put on the fishnet tights, miniskirt and swimsuit top. While they should be neon or brightly colored, they don't have to match; some ravers deliberately choose clashing colors for their costumes.
3. Pull the neon legwarmers over your shoes to conceal them and add color to your lower legs. Additionally, spray paint your shoes or choose shoes that match your brightly colored outfit.
4. Wrap glow sticks around yourself to create necklaces, bracelets and belts.

5. Put on the nude- or flesh-colored bikini to both cover yourself and keep the caution tape from slipping.
6. Wrap the bright yellow caution tape several times around your hips to create a miniskirt, or run it between your legs twice then up the middle of your stomach for a more revealing look.
7. Crisscross the tape around your torso up to your chest. Wrap it twice around your chest, then around your neck once. Finish by running it up the sides of your face and around your head.
8. Secure the tape to your body and head using clothing tape; place the sticky adhesive to multiple points so the caution tape doesn't slip.
9. Make the costume unique by adding caution tape to your arms or legs to create bracelets and legwarmers. Dye your hair with temporary sprays or paints and add jewelry that matches the yellow tape. Wrap your shoes in caution tape as well.
