Share Movies Using An Ipod

The best part of iPod ownership is the ability to take your digital entertainment anywhere you want to go. Later iPod models even allow you to watch movies on their little screens and share them with friends while on the go.

Instructions

1. Select which of your movies you want to share. If you and your friends have similar interests, they may already have seen the movies in your collection. Also, consider which films will look best on the iPod's screen. The grandeur of large, epic films may be lost when shrunk to fit a tiny display.

2. Purchase, install and run a program that will convert your DVDs to an iPod video format. Download the iPod movie converter software, install it onto your computer and click "Run" if it doesn't automatically open.

3. Insert the DVD into your computer's DVD drive. Click on "File" at the top of the conversion software. Click "Select Video." Choose the drive that contains the movie you want to convert.

4. Decide how large you want the digital file to be. The larger the file, the richer the video. On the other hand, you won't be able to fit as many movies on your iPod if the files are large. Select the smallest video size for a small iPod.

5. Click the "Convert" button to convert the movie to your iPod video format. This takes a few minutes.

6. Transfer the iPod video-encoded movie file to your iPod. This is easy to do via iTunes. Open iTunes and drag the movie you just converted onto your iTunes software. Sync the iPod to your computer to transfer the file to your iPod.

7. Decide which of the movies on your iPod you want to share with a friend.

8. Sync your iPod with your friend's computer and transfer the iPod video file to their computer. From there, your friend syncs his iPod to his computer to upload the file to his iPod.
