Find a Show with DIRECTV Receiver
1. Get acquainted with your remote. While the DIRECTV receiver works as the central processing unit it is of little use without the remote. It's like having an awesome car without a key.
2. Use the Guide button. This feature allows you to view what is currently being played on your screen as well as what programs will be available within the next two weeks.
3. Press the Menu button. Here you can search for programs by title, keywords, and previous searches. You can also create a list of your favorite shows and set access controls.
4. Choose red. The red button on the remote allows you to see what programs were aired as far back as 12 hours ago. This could help ensure that you don't miss the next airing of a desired program.
5. Go green. The green button allows you to view programs that will air within the next 12 hours. If you're unable to view a program for any reason you have the ability to record it for later viewing.
