Send A Net Alert On Nextel

Nextel is a CDMA cell phone service provider in the U.S. Like all other cell phone service providers, it lets you use services like SMS and email. In addition to the usual communication features, it has some added features as well. If you need to send a net alert to somebody with a Nextel cell phone number, you could simply email it to him. Instead of sending it to his email address, you will be sending it to the Nextel number. The procedure is very easy, and the best part is that it is totally free. As long as you have Internet access and a valid email account, you can send as many alerts as you want.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the website of your email client.

2. Compose a new email by clicking the "Create New"/"Compose" button.

3. Type "xxx-xxx-xxxx@messaging.nextel.com" in the "To" field, where "xxx-xxx-xxxx" is the recipient's 10-digit Nextel number.

4. Type a subject for the alert, or leave the "Subject" field blank if you prefer.

5. Enter the body of the message alert in the big white text box.

6. Click "Send." Your net alert will be sent to the specified Nextel number.
