Reset Activation On Sprint 700

Resetting the activation of a Sprint Palm Treo 700 phone is necessary if you purchased the smartphone unactivated or it has not properly connected to the Sprint mobile broadband network on its own. In order to reset the activation on a Treo 700, you must dial the Sprint customer service number from your Treo and follow the activation prompts. The phone is established for Sprint service upon resetting the activation, which ensures you have access to the Sprint mobile broadband services to which you subscribe.


Instructions








1. Dial "*2" using the keyboard and press the "Phone/Talk" button.


2. Follow the voice prompts to reset and resend the activation code to the Treo 700. You will see a service provisioning message as the phone is activated.


3. Wait until you see the "Programming Successful" message appear on the screen of the Sprint Treo.


4. Press the "Dismiss" button, which is assigned to the left softkey.








5. Dial a phone number to verify that the activation on your Treo 700 has been properly reset.
