Get My Pictures From Usb Mini Sd Card Reader

How Do I Get My Pictures From USB Mini SD Card Reader?

Mini SD cards are commonly used by digital cameras to store images. Although you can connect the digital camera to a USB port on the computer you can use a USB mini SD card reader also to read the images from the memory device. Doing so allows you to continue taking pictures with your camera while importing images onto the computer with the card reader.

Instructions

1. Connect the mini SD card reader to your computer via the USB cable that extends out of the rear of the device.

2. Insert the driver installation CD into the computer. These drivers tell the computer use and read the USB card reader. In a moment the installation wizard loads. Follow the prompts until you have completed the installation.

3. Insert the mini SD card into the SD card reader. If you have an image library software installed on your computer it launches automatically.

4. Select the "Start" button, followed by "My Computer" (or "Computer").

5. Double-click the USB mini SD card icon in "My Computer." A new window opens with all of the images stored on the card.

6. Click and drag the images onto your computer. You can copy the images anywhere on your computer.
