Troubleshoot An Hp Photosmart 435

Hewlett-Packard (HP) designed the Photosmart 435 as a simple point-and-shoot digital camera for the home user who also wants direct syncing with a computer to help manage and edit the camera's photos. Occasional problems may arise while using the Photosmart 435. Troubleshoot the camera to help fix the underlying problems so you can get back to capturing snapshots of the world around you.

Instructions

1. Turn the Photosmart 435 camera on if its back screen isn't illuminated. Slide the lens cover on the front of the camera toward the left to reveal the lens. This powers on the camera.

2. Make sure the camera has batteries if it won't turn on when you open its lens cover. Pull open the battery compartment cover on the camera's left panel. Insert two fresh AA-sized batteries and replace the compartment door.

3. Install a memory card if you receive data errors saying the camera has reached its internal storage capacity and won't let you take new pictures. Insert the memory card into the slot located adjacent to the camera's batteries. The HP device can handle all MultiMediaCard (MMC) and Secure Digital (SD) memory cards.

4. Install the camera's software, located on the installation CD included with the Photosmart 435, if you're trying to use the camera's instant share button and it won't work on your computer. Additionally, make sure the camera's connection cables are securely plugged into both your computer and the camera itself.

5. Call HP's customer support line toll-free at 800-474-6836 if you still can't get your Photosmart 435 camera to work correctly. Technicians are available 24 hours a day.
