Transfer Contacts To Windows Mobile

Windows Mobile is a type of mobile phone software that is compatible with classic Microsoft Windows programs, such as Media Player, Internet Explorer and Outlook. When you synchronize the address on a Windows Mobile phone, the native setting is to synchronize with the desktop version of Microsoft Outlook. If you want to import contacts into your Windows Mobile address book, Microsoft recommends that you do so through the Microsoft Outlook interface.

Instructions

1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer. Go to "File > Import" then "Export > Import Files." Click "Contacts." Click "Browse" to browse your computer's files for the CSV file. Select the CSV file and click "OK." Close Microsoft Outlook after the import process is complete.

2. Connect your Windows Mobile phone to your computer through the USB port. Start the Windows Mobile Device Center (see Resources for a download link).

3. Click "Synchronize" to synchronize the Microsoft Outlook address book with your Windows Mobile phone. Disconnect the Windows Mobile phone when you see the confirmation message that the process is complete.
