Make A Paper Box Hidden Camera

Spy on your suspects or secretly monitor your home or office using a hidden camera.

Hidden cameras are used to catch candid moments, monitor employees or record video for protection. Find them in anything from teddy bears to watches. A paper box is an effective place to insert a hidden camera, because paper boxes are common in homes and businesses. The paper boxes will not look out of place. To truly hide the camera, a battery-powered hidden camera camouflages it enough to go without being seen.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Spy Gear, Home Spy or Spy Supply websites. Choose a battery-operated hidden camera. The camera should also have its own memory drive.

2. Open a paper box. For reference, use an old tissue box. Remove all the tissue inside the box.

3. Measure the diameter of the hidden camera lens. Only the lens needs to be exposed.

4. Cut a hole the same diameter as the hidden camera lens on the side of the box. Use a utility knife. If the lens is small, a hole puncher will also work.

5. Place the hidden camera inside the tissue box. Insert the lens into the hole in the side of the box. Tape the hidden camera in place using duct tape.

6. Insert the tissue back into the box. Remove the camera to download the video from the memory card or to recharge the battery, as needed.
