You had an issue with your VHS tape--twisted tape, a portion of video you want to cut, a damaged cassette casing--and you managed to get the tape apart and either fix the problem or switch the reels to a new case. But as with many items, reassembling a VHS tape might seem more complicated than disassembling it. Don't worry, putting the tape back together is no big deal.
Instructions
1. Take a close look at the components. You should have three main pieces to put together: the base of the case, the top of the case and the two reels.
2. Put the two reels back into place at the bottom of the case.
3. Unreel a portion of the tape from between the reels. Thread it through the guides and rollers at the bottom of the case.
4. Turn one of the reels to take up any slack.
5. Put the top of the case back on the base. Be careful not to crunch the tape under the hinged flap.
6. Make sure the top and base meet and fit together perfectly.
7. Screw the case back together.
