Fix Tv Lag

TV lag is a term that refers to playing a video game where the display lags from the controls. This happens when you play older, non high-definition video game systems on high-definition TV sets. This problem develops from the TV's graphics engine trying to transfer the graphics to the screen. You have measures you can take to prevent lag between your HDTV and video game system.

Instructions

1. Press "Menu" on the remote control to your HDTV, and select "Video." Go to "Resolution" and select a resolution setting that matches your gaming console. Examine your game console's manual to find the resolution output.

2. Press "Menu" on the remote control to your HDTV, and select "Video. Search for "Game Mode" under the "Video" options and select it. Some TVs include this option specifically for solving the lag problem, but it is not available on all TVs.

3. Connect the video game console to a VGA port on the TV with a VGA cable. Press the "PC" button on your remote control so that the TV displays the signal from the VGA port. Most TVs do not enhance the signals coming in through the VGA connection.
