My Charger Won'T Work On My Iphone 3g

The iPhone comes with a charger that can connect to an electrical outlet or a computer, via USB. In rare instances, iPhone users experience trouble with their charger, however there are several troubleshooting techniques you can use to double-check that it is either working or busted.

Instructions

1. Make sure the charger is fully connected to your iPhone. Often the iPhone charger can appear to be fully inserted into the phone when it is actually only partially inserted on one side. If the iPhone begins to charge and sync, your problem is solved.

2. Power off your iPhone, then turn it back on. Try connecting the charger to the phone again. Give the phone a moment to connect and snyc because an iPhone can occasionally take a few seconds to register that it is charging.

3. Try removing the iPhone charger's USB connector from the electrical output and insert the USB into a computer, preferably a Mac. Sometimes the electrical outlet attachment on the charger can fail, however the rest of the charger is still valid. If the problem still persists after these steps, consider taking the phone and charger into an Apple store to have it checked out.
