Instructions For A Sansa Music Card

The SanDisk microSDHC (secure digital high capacity) memory card is designed to externally store multimedia file like MP3 music files for compatible media devices. The Sandisk Sansa series of media players are all compatible with the SanDisk memory card; as a result, these microSDHC cards are often referred to as Sansa music cards. As of 2010, the microSDHC card runs in storage sizes of up to 32GB.

Instructions

1. Open the packaging for the SanDisk microSDHC memory card and install the accompanying software on your computer.

2. Insert the SanDisk microSDHC card into the card reader and connect the card reader's USB cable into the computer's USB port. The SanDisk application will automatically detect the SanDisk card once it is attached and display a folder on your desktop.

3. Locate the desired music files on your computer, then drag and drop them into the SanDisk card folder on your desktop.

4. Remove the SanDisk memory card from the card reader and insert it into the microSDHC slot on your Sansa player. The location of the microSD slot may vary between media players, but it is typically located on the right-hand side of the device.
