Put A Photo Library On Apple Tv

Apple TV allows you to play a slideshow of your photos on your TV.

Apple TV is a digital media receiver that allows you to stream or sync media from a computer running iTunes and watch it on your TV. You can also view photos that you would like to appear as a slideshow on Apple TV. The process is different depending on which generation of Apple TV you are using. First generation devices can sync media onto the Apple TV hard drive or use a feature called Home Sharing, which enables you to stream media from multiple devices. Second generation devices don't have a hard drive, so they can only use Home Sharing.

Instructions

Syncing to Apple TV Through the Hard Drive

1. Select the Apple TV icon in the Devices list in iTunes.

2. Select the "Photos" menu at the top.

3. Select "Sync photos from," and then click on the drop-down list and select "Choose folder."

4. Locate and select the folder that contains the photo library, and then click "Select folder."
