Adjust A Digital Tv To Watch Vhs

Video Cassette Recorders are used to display VHS tapes on a television screen. With the advent of digital televisions, some VCRs have trouble displaying their signal on a television screen because the default picture mode for some televisions is not in sync with the VCR's visual signal. If you wish to adjust your television for a VCR, you can do so by manipulating your television's menu.

Instructions

1. Turn your television and VCR on. Insert a VHS tape into your VCR and begin watching the tape on your television.

2. Press the "Menu" button on your television to open your television menu. Select the "Settings" option in the television menu.

3. Select the "Picture" menu, then select the "Mode" option to adjust your picture mode.

4. Alternate between adjusting the picture mode and checking your television picture. After you are satisfied with your television picture as displayed by the VCR, remember the picture mode you have selected, as you will need to switch to the mode every time you use your VCR.
