Get Digg Updates On My Android Phone

Launched in the winter of 2004, the Digg.com website parses news updates according to its readers' responses to the articles. The Android operating system features a Web browser that allows smartphone users to directly access the Digg website for updates; however, third-party applications offered through Android's marketplace provide a more convenient interface for getting updates from Digg.








Instructions








DiggDroid


1. Unlock your Android phone and tap the "Market" app.


2. Tap "Search," type "DiggDroid" and tap "Enter."


3. Tap "DiggDroid" in the list of results and then tap the "Install" button.


4. Access your Android phone's applications drawer and tap "DiggDroid." Digg updates are displayed in the menu.


Digg Reader


5. Unlock your Android phone and tap the "Market" app.


6. Tap the "Search" button, type "Digg Reader" and press "Enter."


7. Open your Android's applications drawer and tap "Digg Reader." Digg Reader displays Digg updates.


Digg Addict


8. Unlock your Android handset and tap the "Market" app in the applications drawer.


9. Tap "Search," type "Digg Addict" and press the "Enter" button.


10. Go to your Android's applications drawer and tap the "Digg Addict" icon. Digg Addict shows updates from the Digg website.
