Take Pictures In Black & White With My Sony Cybershot

How Do I Take Pictures in Black & White With My Sony Cybershot?

Sony Cyber-shot cameras are designed as point-and-click cameras that allow users with little photography experience to take high-quality photographs. Cyber-shot cameras have several features that you can adjust to enhance your photographs. One such feature is the black-and-white picture setting.

Instructions

1. Turn the mode dial to "P" for "Program Auto Mode." The black-and-white picture option is only available in "Program Auto Mode" and "Movie Recording Mode." If you want to record a movie in black and white, turn the mode dial to the symbol of a film strip.

2. Press the "Menu" button on the back of the camera to open the main menu.

3. Use the up and down navigation buttons to highlight "Color Mode." A menu with the color settings will appear on the screen.

4. Select "B/W" in the "Color Mode" menu by pressing the right navigation button.

5. Save the setting by pressing the "Menu" button. The menu will disappear. You can now take pictures in black and white.
