Send Photos To A Cell Phone

In this age of technology, it is important to be able to access email, texts and photographs from all your devices, including your computer and your cell phone. Many cell phones have data packages available so you can access all information on your cell phone that you can access on your computer. But can you still get photos sent to your phone from your computer without a data plan? Fortunately, with just a few steps, you can get your photos sent to your phone.

Instructions

1. Save a photo to your computer desktop. You should save it as a .jpg file, as some phones don't accept .bmp or .gif files. Make sure it's a fairly small file, as it will be easier to send.

2. Talk to your cell phone provider and find out your cell phone email address. It will be your phone number @ phone provider address. You can also find a list of the phone provider addresses at many places online.

3. Send an email as normal with the cell phone number email in the send field. Attach the photo you want to send to your cell phone to the email. You must be able to receive SMS text messaging on your cell phone in order for the picture to come through.

4. Plug your phone into your computer with a USB cable and transfer the files directly to the phone from your computer. This is a good alternative from emailing the files if your phone doesn't have an SMS support system, or if you can't locate your phone provider email address. You can simply drag and drop the files you want to transfer on your desktop to the cell phone and have the pictures on your phone quickly.

5. Send photos from one phone to another in the same way you send a text message. Simply type in the phone number you want the picture to be sent to and attach the photo that is stored on your cell phone. Again, you will have to have SMS messaging enabled in order to receive the photo message from another phone.
