Read Word Documents In Zune

A Zune is a portable media player that allows you to playback audio files, videos, photos and upload ebooks. Microsoft Word files are not a supported format on a Zune player, so you have to convert them to an ebook format. This simple process can be accomplished using a Zune ebook converter program.

Instructions

1. Connect your Zune player to the computer using a USB cable.

2. Download an ebook converter software such as Zune eBook Creator (see Resources).

3. Launch your program after it has installed and click "Browse" next to the source file window.

4. Locate the Microsoft Word text file from the location you have it saved on your computer and click "Open" to load it to the source file window of your program.

5. Click the "Browse" button next to the "Destination Folder" window and select the location to save your file to after it has been converted. Since your Zune player is connected to the computer, select its hard drive as the destination folder to save the file after it has been converted.

6. Select the file format to convert the Microsoft Word file to. If you want to view the Word file as an ebook picture file on the Zune player, select "JPEG" format.

7. Click "Convert" when you are done with the customization. The Microsoft Word file will automatically be converted to an ebook format that can be read on the Zune player.
