Find A Face For A Car Stereo

The face plate for a car stereo is the electronic device that you will use to select your source, insert your CD's, and tune your radio, among other things. Face plates come with many different options. Today, you can purchase a face that has a touchscreen, navigation, and an LCD DVD player. The price of the equipment will depend on the options you choose.

Instructions

1. Decide how much you are willing to spend on a face. This will determine what you can and cannot afford.

2. Determine what audio device/s you will be using. If you are attaching an iPod or iPhone to your face, you will want it to have an auxiliary slot for iPod compatibility. If you only listen to CD's you only need a face with a CD player.

3. List the options and capabilities your face must have. A checklist will help you narrow down your search.

4. Head to an electronics store to get a hands-on test with each face.

5. Choose 3 to 5 devices that fit your price range and have the options you are looking for.

6. Compare the prices on your device list with other electronics stores and websites.
