Turn On A Stereo With The Tivo 3 Remote

TiVo is a home digital-video recorder manufactured by TiVo Inc. It allows users to record programs from their television in a similar fashion to a VCR, but without the need for tapes. The TiVo remote can be programmed to control other devices in your home entertainment system, as well as the TiVo box. This is useful if you find you have several remotes in your living room, one for each device. The TiVo remote cannot control the power of a stereo, but can instead be programmed to control the volume and mute functions. You should allow approximately five minutes to program your TiVo remote to control your stereo.
