Do you have a bunch of music files, video files and other files in your Zune library that you no longer want or need? If so, you need to delete your entire Zune library to remove all of those files. Deleting a Zune library will remove the files from the Zune collection.
Instructions
1. Open up your Zune software on your computer. It is what you use to manage all of your music, videos and other files in your Zune collection.
2. Click on "Collection." You will then have to choose from "Music," "Videos," "Pictures," "Podcasts" and "Channels." You can only choose one at a time.
3. Use your mouse to right-click on each item in that category. For example, if you have selected "Music" then you will need to right-click on each music file listed in the collection. Select "Delete" from your available options.
4. Make a deletion selection. You can choose "Keep file(s) but remove from collection" if you want to delete the file from the Zune library but leave it on your computer, or "Delete file(s) and remove from collection" to remove the file from your computer and the Zune library. Click "OK" after making the selection.
5. Repeat the deletion selection for each of the categories under "Collection" that have files listed. This will remove all of the files from the Zune library.
