Make A Blank Air Freshener







Maintaining a clean and fresh smelling home sometimes involves using air fresheners. Making your own air fresheners provides you with a variety of scents that improve the surroundings of your home environment. Knowing make a blank air freshener base gives you the ability to use the base with a variety of individual room scents. This is a simple craft that you can do in under an hour.


Instructions


1. Add the polysorbate 80 to the large plastic jug. Alternatively, you can use polysorbate 20, which is a cheaper and lower quality version of 80.


2. Add the ethyl alcohol to the jug containing the polysorbate 80. Ethyl alcohol is available in drug stores and beauty supply stores as a rubbing alcohol. You can also use vodka as a substitute.


3. Add the distilled water to the jug.








4. Cap the jug and shake it vigorously for about two minutes.


5. Store the blank air freshener base in a cool, dark area such as a cabinet under your bathroom sink or in your linen closet.
