Connect The Audio Cords Of The Sony Dvpf25 Cd/Dvd Player







Sony DVP-F25 CD/DVD Player is compatible with a variety of audio components such as TV, Stereo amplifier (receiver), MD Deck/DAT Deck, AV amplifier (receiver) with a Dolby Surround (Pro logic) decoder, or AV amplifier having a Dolby digital or DTS Decoder, and a digital input jack. The player gives outstanding sound effects if connected to an audio component that best suits the system. Following are the ways to connect the audio cords of the Sony DVP-F25 CD/DVD Player to the respective audio components.


Instructions


Connect the Audio Cords (supplied) of the Sony DVP-F25 CD/DVD Player to the TV


1. Connect the white plug of the audio/video cord to the respective white AUDIO OUT L jack TV.


2. Connect the red plug of the audio/video cord to the respective red AUDIO OUT R jack on the TV.


3. Remember that the player will use the speakers of the TV for sound.


Connect the player to the stereo amplifier (receiver) and two speakers


4. Connect the stereo amplifier with the two speakers.


5. Check for the type of output jacks your stereo amplifier has. It can have Left and Right audio input jacks and digital output jack.








6. Connect a stereo audio cord (not supplied) to the white and red AUDIO OUT L and AUDIO OUT R, respectively of the player if the stereo amplifier has audio input jacks only.


7. Connect an optical digital cord to the digital output jack of the player and optical digital input of the stereo amplifier if it has digital input jack.


Connect the player to an MD Deck or DAT Deck


8. Locate the digital output jack on your CD/DVD player.


9. Connect an optical digital cord (not supplied) to the digital output jack of the player and the optical digital input jack of the MD deck or DAT deck.


Connect the player to a Dolby surround (Pro Logic) decoder amplifier (receiver) and 3 to 6 speakers


10. Check the type of jacks present in your Dolby surround (Pro Logic) decoder amplifier. Two types of jacks may be present- audio input and digital input jacks.


11. Use stereo audio cord (not supplied) to connect your player to stereo amplifier if your amplifier has audio input jacks. Connect the white and red AUDIO OUT L and AUDIO OUT R, respectively of the player if the stereo amplifier has audio input jacks only.


12. Connect an optical digital cord (not supplied) to the digital output jack of the player and optical digital input of the Dolby surround (Pro logic) decoder amplifier if it has optical digital input.


13. Connect the amplifier to either three speakers or six speakers. If connecting to three speakers, use front left and right and a rear (monaural) speaker. If connecting to six speakers, use a center speaker, two rear speakers, a subwoofer and two front speakers.


Connect the player to an AV amplifier (receiver) with a digital input jack having a Dolby digital or DTS decoder, and six speakers


14. Locate the optical digital input jack on the AV amplifier and the optical digital out jack on the player.


15. Connect the optical digital cord (not supplied) to the digital jacks on the DVD player and the amplifier.


16. Connect the amplifier with the six speakers (two rear speakers, two front speakers, a subwoofer and a center speaker).
