Charge an iPhone 3G
Having an iPhone 3G is an exciting prospect, and you may be excited to play with it as soon as you bring it home from the store. However, instead of playing with your iPhone, it is best to charge it fully first. Charging your iPhone is a very easy process, and once your iPhone is fully charged, you'll be able to enjoy its many features.
Instructions
1. Find the sync cable that was bundled with your iPhone. This cable is a long white cable with a USB side and a long, skinny data side.
2. Plug the data side of the cord into the bottom of your iPhone, with the little rectangle picture facing the same way as the face of the iPhone.
3. Connect the USB end of the cord to a power source. This power source can be either a USB port on your computer, or a USB wall adapter plugged into a standard outlet.
4. Wait for the phone to charge. Once the phone is connected, a battery icon will appear and it will display the percentage of charge that the phone has. Once the iPhone has reached 100% charge, unplug it.
