Sync A Verizon Treo With Microsoft Outlook

The Verizon Palm Treo is capable of storing all of the information contained in Microsoft Outlook on your computer, including contacts, emails and calendar appointments. To ensure the information stored on your Treo is up to date, you need to periodically synchronize the Treo with your computer. This process is very quick and simple, but it does require installation of the HotSync software provided by Palm.

Instructions

1. Launch HotSync Manager on your computer. This software was provided to you when you purchased the Palm Treo. If you do not have this software, however, you can download it for free from the Palm website. For your convenience, a link to this download is included below under "Resources."

2. Connect the Treo to the computer using the cradle that came with the device.

3. Push the "HotSync" button located on the cradle. This will initiate the synchronization process. Your device will become unresponsive while the process is running, which may take up to a few minutes. When it has finished, your device will be up to date.
