Use A Senseo Coffee Maker

A Senseo coffee maker eliminates the need for carefully measuring out coffee to make just a partial pot of coffee. With this coffee maker, you can conveniently brew your morning coffee or your cup of afternoon work coffee. The Senseo coffee maker uses coffee pods to brew coffee and makes only one or two coffee cups worth of coffee at one time, depending on your settings. With Senseo coffee makers, making coffee is a one-touch process.

Instructions

1. Lift the lid to reveal the Senseo coffee maker's water reservoir, which is located in the rear area.

2. Fill the water reservoir with the desired amount of water. It is not a holding tank and all of the water you put in will be used at once. There are maximum and minimum water guidelines, but other than those restrictions you can put in any amount of water that you want. The water should fill one or two cups. For instance, if you have an 8-ounce cup, then you can put 8 ounces or less of water in the reservoir.

3. Insert your coffee pod into the pod holder, which is accessed from the top of the machine in the front section. You will see the pod holder area in front of the water reservoir access area.

4. Close the lid and press down firmly on the handle to lock the lid into place.

5. Press the power button, which is the middle button on the bottom front of the machine. It will start flashing while the water heats up. Once it stops flashing, which usually takes no more than 60 seconds, you are ready to brew your coffee.

6. Push the button that corresponds with the number of cups you are making. Your choices are one cup or two cups. Make sure you have placed a cup on the plate for the coffee to brew into before you press the button. If making two cups, you will need to switch out the cups once the first one is filled and the machine pauses. Press the two-cup button once more to fill the second cup.
