Upload From An Rca Digital Voice Recorder

The RCA Digital Voice Recorder VR5230 features a USB extension cable and connects to your PC for uploading and saving music and audio files. The computer system requirements for the VR5230 are the Windows 7, Vista or XP operating system, 20 MB free hard disk space and a USB port. The software does not function on the Mac operating system. Stop all music playback and recording before connecting the Digital Voice Recorder to the computer.

Instructions

1. Connect the USB extension cable from the RCA VR5230 to a USB port on your PC. "PCLINK" displays on the VR5230 screen and the computer recognizes it as a removable drive. The Digital Voice Manager software begins automatically.

2. Follow the onscreen installation instructions for the Digital Voice Manager.

3. Click "Start" and click "All Programs." Click on "RCA Digital Voice Recorder" and click "RCA Digital Voice Manager" to open the software.

4. Click on the names of the folders containing the audio files you want to upload. Click the "Copy" icon at the top of the screen.

5. Click the computer drive location to store the uploaded file and click the "Paste" icon. The files copy to that location.

6. Click the "Hardware" icon in your computer system tray and click "Unplug or Eject Hardware" when you're finished uploading. Click the name of the device and click "OK." Disconnect the USB extension cable.
