Instructions
1. Turn your HP iPAQ on. To do this, press the power button. Also, turn the key guard off by pressing the appropriate key on the keypad.
2. Press the "Mail" button on your keypad. Or, if you prefer, tap the "Mail" option on your screen with the stylus. This should take you to the screen where you can set up your email settings for your device.
3. Open the "Menus" folder by double-clicking it with the stylus or the keypad. You will then select "Accounts" followed by the "Manage" option.
4. Select the "New" option from that list. From that menu, select the email provider that you want to automatically download emails from onto your HP iPAQ.
5. Enter a name for this account in the box provided. For example, "My Yahoo Email" would be a good name for this. Then enter the username and password for that particular email account.
6. Select "Next" on that screen's menu. Again, this can either by done with the stylus or the keypad.
7. Start downloading email messages. This can either be done immediately by selecting the "Sync Now" option or later by selecting the "Sync Later" option on your screen.
