Instructions

2. Contact an unlock code generating company through the Internet. Some websites that provide unlock codes for a fee include GSM-Unlock, Cell Corner and Unlock Cellular. The fee will depend on the network the phone is locked to.
3. Provide the company with all the necessary information, including the phone's IMEI number and name of the provider the phone is locked to. You will also have to provide an email address where the company will send you the code.
4. Pay for the code using your credit card. After the payment confirmation, the website will tell you the number of days it will take for the code to be dispatched. Usually, it takes a week or less.
5. Turn on the phone using an unaccepted SIM card. Your phone's screen will read the message, "Password." Enter the unlock code you received from the website. If the phone shows the message "Incorrect SIM card," follow the unlocking method in Step 6.
6. Type in "#0111*CODE#" and press the "Send" key. You should now see the message "Personalization Canceled" on the phone screen.
